A rural property in Santa Rosa commanded the highest price in last week's residential real estate market, selling for $4.1 million. The transaction led a list of the ten most expensive home sales recorded in the area during that period.
The top sale involved a single-family home situated on a large lot, offering privacy and expansive views. The property featured multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, along with modern upgrades and outdoor living spaces. Its location outside the city center contributed to its premium valuation.
Following the top sale, the second most expensive home changed hands for $3.2 million. This residence, located in a gated community, included a pool, a guest house, and high-end finishes throughout. The third spot went to a property that sold for $2.8 million, a renovated Victorian-style home in a historic neighborhood.
Rounding out the top five were a contemporary home with solar panels and an electric vehicle charger, selling for $2.5 million, and a ranch-style house on several acres, which went for $2.2 million. The remaining five sales ranged from $1.9 million down to $1.5 million. These included a mid-century modern home, a townhouse with downtown views, and three other single-family residences in established subdivisions.
Real estate agents noted that buyer demand remained steady for move-in-ready homes with unique features, such as updated kitchens, energy-efficient systems, and ample outdoor space. The week's sales reflect a continued trend of strong interest in properties that offer both comfort and functional amenities. No further details on the buyers or specific agents were disclosed.
